Deborah Rue, LMFTDeborah Rue is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Washington State Approved Supervisor and an American Association of Family Therapist Approved Supervisor. She received her Master's in Marriage and Family from Seattle Pacific University in 2007.
Deborah taught elementary school for many years before becoming a therapist. The unique needs and challenges of gifted students were a significant focus of her time in education. She also co-authored a local newspaper column and later, a book that offered supportive ways for families to enjoy our community. As a therapist, her passion to help families thrive is reflected in her work with couples, individuals and children. She is an AEDP Level One Therapist, and is trained in both EMDR and Lifespan Integration. She is also a Developmental Model Couples Therapy trained therapist. Beyond formal training, Deborah has learned much about life through spiritual growth as a Christian, victories and failures, marriage and parenting. She is active in her community and values coming along side clients as they choose to do the work of growing, healing and thriving. As a supervisor of therapists, she is supportive as the therapist grows professionally and develops their therapeutic skills, systemic thinking, and self-of-the-therapist awareness. Deborah is currently not accepting new clients. Please visit our contact page for more information. |
